Ted Nugent - Ted Nugent Slams American Government Over Shutdown

Rocker Ted Nugent has launched a furious attack on the U.S. government over its ongoing shutdown, blaming "fraud, deceit and corruption" for the scandal.

The White House ordered a partial shutdown of public offices last week (ends04Oct13) after the two Houses of Congress failed to agree a new budget.

The blunder forced more than 700,000 workers to take unpaid leave and led to the temporary closure of some of the country's top public buildings and museums, and veteran star Nugent is in no doubt where the blame lies.

He says, "The government is so out of control. It is so bloated and infested with fraud and deceit and corruption and abuse of power... The American government today will go down and the American people, it breaks my heart to say... will go down as the dumbest, most unappreciative society in the history of humankind."
