Ted Nugent - Ted Nugent's Casino Gig Scrapped

The Native American bosses of an Idaho casino have axed an upcoming Ted Nugent concert because they disapprove of his outspoken views on race.

The rocker was scheduled to perform at the Coeur d'Alene gambling Mecca near Worley on 4 August (14), but venue bosses have been offended by his "racist and hate-filled remarks".

The tribe elders claim they booked Nugent without researching his views.

It is not clear exactly what Nugent said to upset the Coeur d'Alene tribe members, but he had to apologise for comments he previously made about President Barack Obama, who he once called "a subhuman mongrel".
