Steven Tyler - Steven Tyler To Undergo Knee Replacement Surgery
Rocker Steven Tyler is set to undergo knee replacement surgery this autumn (13).
The Rolling Stones star's rigorous touring schedule over the last five decades has taken a toll on the 65 year old's body, and now he is planning a break from the spotlight to focus on his health after scheduling a knee operation for November (13).
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "My knee is giving out. I had Acl (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstructions, and in November I'm getting knee replacement surgery. It'll take me about three or four months to recover...
"I've had so many operations on my knees and feet that just to be standing is a miracle. But to turn around and do one of my spins (onstage) where I don't fall, that's the s**t! But hey, all these years have taken their toll on me."
The Satisfaction hitmaker has undergone a number of surgeries over the last few years - he had a vocal cord procedure in 2006 and a foot operation in 2008.
