Justin Bieber - Photographer's Lawyer Wants Justin Bieber To Answer More Deposition Questions
A lawyer representing the photographer Justin Bieber is accused of assaulting in Miami, Florida has filed a court motion demanding the singer return to the city for another round of deposition questions.
The Baby hitmaker sat for a four-and-a-half hour meeting last week (ends07Mar14) relating to a lawsuit snapper Jeffrey Binion filed against the 20 year old and his bodyguard Hugh Hesney following an alleged run-in last summer (13).
The plaintiff is seeking unspecified damages amid claims he was choked by Hesney and ordered to delete his images after Bieber took issue to being photographed outside a recording studio.
Video footage of the deposition recently surfaced online, showing the troubled pop star behaving badly as he is asked questions about his life and career. He is even reported to have stormed out of the hearing after refusing to discuss topics relating to his on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez, telling attorney Mark DiCowden, "Do not ask me about her (Gomez) again."
His lack of co-operation has prompted DiCowden to file a motion accusing Bieber's lawyers of wrongly preventing him from continuing his line of questioning. He is asking a judge to force the singer to return to Miami within the next 30 days to continue his testimony as Gomez had been present during other altercations between Bieber and the paparazzi.
The request was filed in court on the same day another Miami judge ordered Bieber to stand trial for his Dui charge on 5 May (14). The singer has pleaded not guilty to the count, in addition to charges of resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired licence, all resulting from an arrest in January (14).
