Lily Allen - Peta Bosses Criticise Lily Allen Music Video
British pop star Lily Allen has come under fire from bosses at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) after featuring a number of exotic creatures in a music video.
In the promo for Allen's single Air Balloon, the singer is seen stroking a cheetah and riding a zebra through the plains of South Africa, where the clip was filmed.
However, the footage has outraged members of Peta, who insist exotic animals should not be used as props by music stars.
A spokesperson tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "Zebras aren't props or transportation. When the director yelled 'cut' Lily could go home, but that zebra will probably spend his life being hired out for humans' financial gain."
Peta executives previously criticised another pop star, Katy Perry, for featuring animals such as elephants and tigers in her Roar video.
