Sir Paul Mccartney - Paul Mccartney Postpones Start Of U.s. Tour
Sir Paul Mccartney has been forced to postpone his first set of tour dates in the U.S. as he continues to recover from a virus which left him hospitalised last month (May14).
The Beatles legend had to scrap his entire Asian tour after he was admitted to a hospital in Tokyo, Japan with a crippling virus, and he has been recuperating at his home in London since he was discharged.
His representative recently assured fans the music icon is "doing fine", but he has now decided to take a little more time to rest and has delayed seven of his Out There tour dates in America between 14 to 26 June (14).
A statement posted on his official website reads: "I'm sorry but it's going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I'm feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon."
Concerts in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky have been pushed back to October (14).
MCCartney is expected to resume his U.S. tour in Albany, New York on 5 July (14).
