A Morrissey - Morrissey Fan's Fears Over 'Threat' Lawsuit

A Morrissey fan at the centre of a bizarre lawsuit over claims the rocker wanted him "gotten rid of" has spoken out, admitting he is "concerned" about the allegation.

The former The Smiths frontman is accused in a lawsuit filed by former bodyguard Bradley Steyn of asking if David Tseng "could get hurt" following an ongoing dispute.

The singer has been at war with Tseng's fan website Morrissey-solo.com for years because users are allowed to openly discuss rumours about the rocker's personal life.

However, he hit out at the lawsuit earlier this week (ends01Aug14), branding it "false" and a "vexatious lie", and now Tseng admits that although the allegation is worrying, he has no idea how credible Steyn is.

He tells Avclub.com, "This was the first I had heard of it. I am of course concerned about the allegations but I don't know any details. I had never heard of Bradley Steyn before so it's hard to say one way or another about how credible he might be."

Tseng was banned for life from Morrissey concerts at the height of the dispute in 2011, but he has vowed to continue running the controversial website despite being turned away from one of the star's gigs in California this year (14).

He adds, "I thought it has blown over but earlier this year at the Santa Ana, California show the tour manager said I was 'banned for life' and was also refused entry. I was never given any sort of reason why so I don't really understand it... I have never thought about shutting (the website) down, I love doing the site and the community that supports it."
