Mutya Keisha Siobhan - MKS deny being dropped from label

Mutya Keisha Siobhan (MKS) have denied being dropped by their record label.

The founding members of the Sugababes released their comeback single 'Flatline' in September, which failed to make a mark in the Official Singles Chart, but Keisha Buchanan has rubbished rumours Polydor have pulled the plug on the band.

She told NME: ''We're still with Polydor. 100 per cent.

''For us we weren't expecting the single to chart. On the first day it went to 16, then we did one TV show with Alan Carr and it went to number 10 ... If we'd done more TV and there had been more promotion around us then we definitely would have had a bigger single.''

Despite the disappointing chart placement, Keisha and her band mates Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy, said they were happy with the effort.

Keisha said: ''It did what we wanted it to do. On our Soundcloud we had 100,000 views on one hour.''

Tickets for the band's gig at The Scala in London sold out in 60 seconds and MKS are due to release their album early next year, despite it being recorded in 2012.

Keisha added: ''For us, I mean I'm not gonna say chart position isn't important, but we are about the album.''

The band's new tracks include 'I'm Alright', 'Love Me Hard' and 'No Regrets'.
