Mila Kunis - Mila Kunis thrilled her parents have retired
Mila Kunis is 'so happy' her parents have finally retired as she has been trying to convince them they don't need to work for several years.
Mila Kunis is ''so happy'' her parents have finally retired.
The 30-year-old actress, who landed a lucrative starring role on 'That 70s Show' when she was just 14 and has carved out a successful Hollywood career, has revealed her mother, Elvira, and father, Mark Kunis, refused to live off her success and only recently stopped working full-time, even though she is reportedly worth $30 million.
The brunette beauty told Vanity Fair: ''My parents are newly retired. It happened you guys.
''My dad was driving a cab in LA and my mom was working at Rite-Aid. They're awesome. They, literally, are newly retired. They may kill each other. I don't know if anybody here has parents that are retired but that's not always a good thing as I've learned because they're home all day and they don't quite have hobbies yet.
''My brother is trying to get my father into golf, not working out so well. My mom and I are trying our hikes in the morning and getting out of the house.
''But I'm so so happy that they finally stopped working. You've got to understand they're 60-something and they've never not worked. It does take a toll on your health and there has got to be a happy medium. But I am so stoked that my parents aren't working, I have to be honest. It's really great.''
'Ted' star Mila, who is dating Ashton Kutcher, previously pleaded with her mother during a TV interview to retire at the SAG Awards in 2011.
She said at the time: ''Mom, please retire. They won't stop (working). It's not even funny, it's no longer funny. I'm fine with them working, I get it, but part-time is okay too but no, they work full-time.''
The actress moved with her family to Los Angeles from the Ukraine when she was seven.
