Rolling Stones - Mick Jagger's Representative Dismisses Katy Perry's Romance Tale
A publicist for Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger has shot down reports suggesting the wrinkly rocker hit on Katy Perry when she was a 19-year-old wannabe - and he was 60.
The Roar hitmaker sang the background vocals for Jagger's tune Old Habits Die Hard, and, after their recording session together, she claims the music veteran invited her to dinner and propositioned her.
She told Australian radio DJs Ash, Kip and Luttsy, "He hit on me, one time... It was a long time ago."
She insisted the romance never got started, and Jagger never held the snub against Perry, stating, "Since then he has been very kind (to me). I got to sing Beast of Burden onstage with him on their (Stones reunion) tour."
But Jagger's representative is playing down the pop star's version of events, stating, "Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry. Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else."
