Sir Mick Jagger has arranged his gigs with the Rolling Stones around the World Cup.

The frontman is determined not to be performing when the soccer matches take place and has scheduled all of his other commitments around the games so he doesn't miss out.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Mick worked out when the England games would be and made sure they wouldn't be performing at the same time.

''He's such a big footie fan, he wanted to make sure he didn't miss any matches.

''He's also insisted there's a decent telly with an English feed at whatever hotel and city the band are in.''

The Stones - also made up of Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards - will play at the Stade de France in Paris on Friday night (14.06.14), so Mick will have time to relax on Saturday (15.06.14) and watch England take on Italy.

The 'Brown Sugar' hitmaker is also heading out to Brazil to watch the semi-final and final later on in the competition.

The Stones have resumed their world tour '14 On Fire Tour' last month after giving Mick, 70, time to grieve following the suicide of his fashion designer partner L'Wren Scott two months ago.

He has since sparked rumours of a new romance after being photographed on a hotel balcony with a mystery brunette recently in Zurich, Switzerland, and friends have defended him, insisting he needs to move on with his life.
