Michael Jackson - Michael Jackson Estate wants abuse allegation dismissed

Michael Jackson's Estate have asked for an abuse allegation against the late singer to be dismissed.

Choreographer Wade Robson - who testified to defend the 'Thriller' singer when he was accused of molestation in 2005 - has alleged in a creditor's claim he was abused by the King of Pop for a seven-year period from the age of seven, but the Estate have asked a Los Angeles judge to reject his allegations because he waited too long to file.

The Estate's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, says in order to pursue a claim, Wade should have filed his case within 60 days of learning the Estate was in probate court in 2009 - and there was no way he wouldn't have known because it made worldwide news.

However, the choreographer claims he delayed filing his allegations against the star - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - because of a repressed memory and only remembered after suffering two ''breakdowns'' which led to him seeking therapy.

In their argument against the claim, the Estate have pointed out that Wade gave a deposition in a guardianship dispute over Michael's children Prince, now 16, Paris, 15, and 11-year-old Blanket, in which he admitted he was ''aware that John Branca and John McClain were co-Executors of Michael's estate and understood they were running the Estate's 'entertainment business'.''

In addition, Wade was contacted by Cirque du Soleil in 2011 to work on 'Immortal', a show themed around Michael, and according to the court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, he ''wanted to do this MJ show badly.''

A judge has yet to rule on whether the claim can go ahead.

Jackson was a hot mess. That whole family is a big hot mess!! I am so sick to death of all their obsession with fame and money. If anyone showed any interest in him, they're accused of being a Gold Digger. Maybe they can take all that stupid money and bury it with them when they finally die! I wonder if they scattered $bills in the coffin. That old woman should be buried with all her "winnings". That way she could be certain that no one else will spend it! #TiredoftheJacksons.

Finally, I can read all of these comments and not get angry. It is time the public stops falling for the tabloid stories and considers the truth is the opposite. Wade (and the others) are liars. MJ never even hurt a fly.

I agree. It is clear Wade is a liar. What ticks me off about these folks who accuses Jackson is that they make it bad for REAL victim of abuse. I have never in my life seen liars makes claims, never want to talk to police (the 2005 case was forced by the DA Tom Sneddon and it was clear even he did not believe those folks he was trying to defend in court by the way he was arguing in court but it was a way to make MJ look bad), always suing for money, the same media tv folks jumping on these accusers bandwagon, change their stories to the cops but talk to tabloid media with nothing to back it up only depending on "kneejerk" reaction from the public. Sorry it wont work.

Wait a damn minute! Are you saying that Wade R. was so outraged and mentally damaged by MJ from over 15 yrs. ago that although he wanted to get money from the Estate, because of what he claimed happened, yet he still wanted to be a part of the Michael Jackson Immortal Tour in 2011? Weren't his complaints of child molestation before or around that same time of the Tour? Wasn't he campaigning about how MJ was this monster? And didn't he turn MJ's children(especially Paris) world upside down by crushing them with these allegations? I hope the Estate can win this because after all of this time this man and his family has moved to Hawaii and are living their lives and MJ's family deserves to do the same. MJ is dead so THAT ought to be enough of a relief on Wade R. mental status, or is he in it to get money only! NO SHOCKER IF HE IS BECAUSE THERE IS A SUCH A LONG LINE OF PEOPLE WHO ALL WANT A PIECE OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S MONEY!

I agree. Wade was so outrage, Wade attended MJ memorial, did the MTV tribute to MJ, worked on a book with Jermaine Jackson, praised MJ all his life even when people asked him about MJ in private talks, defended MJ TWICE in court of law at his OWN WILL, now this. Enuf is enuf and I am tired of these clearly lying claims now and I think the average person is tired as well even before MJ's death. That is why the man sold out 50 shows and even grief hits most people when he died. That is proof how people loved MJ and knew this mess was lies; otherwise, no one would celebrate him or his life still.
