Marilyn Monroe - Marilyn Monroe Estate Executors Sue Over Tribute Cafe Chain Photos
Executors looking after Marilyn Monroe's estate have launched an $18.35 million (£11.5 million) lawsuit against the owners of a chain of tribute cafes in America for allegedly failing to pay for photos of the late Hollywood icon.
Bosses behind the MM Cafe locations, where images of the blonde bombshell are framed and put on walls, reportedly agreed to hand over $1 million (£625,000) a year for a 20-year licence to use the photos, but Monroe's representatives claim they have reneged on the deal.
The plaintiffs are demanding the restaurateurs settle the remainder of the whole contract in order to continue using the snaps of the sexy Gentleman Prefer Blondes star, reports Tmz.com.
Monroe died in 1962.
