Malin Akerman - Malin Akerman's husband files for divorce

Malin Akerman's husband Roberto Zincone has filed for divorce.

The 'Trophy Wife' star recently decided to ''amicably'' part ways with the drummer - with whom she has seven-month-old son, Sebastian - and he filed court documents to legally dissolve their six-year marriage last Wednesday (27.11.13).

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Roberto, who played the drums in Malin's old band The Petalstones, signed his divorce papers in Los Angeles just one day after news of their split broke.

A friend previously said: ''It's as amicable as can be, and they want to do what's best for their son.''

Another source claimed last week that neither of them had any plans to start legal proceedings.

The insider said: ''No one has plans to file yet. Honestly, Malin is not even ready to discuss it. It's a very sad time for her.''

The former couple got married in 2007 in Italy and the Swedish actress recently claimed they were very happy together.

She said: ''We've never had a single fight. We've always talked things out.''

The 35-year-old star also previously said their son, who was born in April, was the ''biggest joy'' they had ever experienced.
