Lady GaGa has opened up about her past romantic experiences with girls, insisting she is attracted to lesbians who prove to be more daring than straight guys.
The Applause hitmaker has been an outspoken activist for the gay and lesbian community ever since she first came into the spotlight, advocating for equality both in America and abroad.
During Gaga's first visit to U.S. late night talk show Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday (11Sep13), host Andy Cohen turned the tables on her when he relayed a fan question asking the singer with which woman she would hook up with if given the opportunity.
Not holding back her answer, Gaga responded, "Well, I've taken a few dips in the lady pond. I like girls. I've said that (before). I know people think I just say things to be shocking, but I actually do like p**sy. It just depends on whose p**sy it is.
"For me, it's similar to how I feel about guys. It's more of an energy thing. I used to go to lesbian clubs all the time. I like them because I find lesbians to be way more daring than straight men, when it comes to coming on to you. And I really like that. And it wasn't until I found a guy that could come onto me as strong as a lesbian that I fell in love."
The 26 year old, who has been dating American actor Taylor Kinney since 2011, also discussed her former job as a stripper, which helped her make the money she needed to start her music career.
She explained, "I used to be one (a stripper) in New York on the Lower East Side. I made more money stripping than waitressing. I didn't show too much - I was a burlesque dancer.
"Because my family's European, for me it wasn't that weird and I didn't do anything super seedy - although my dad didn't think so.'"
