The Hangover - Ken Jeong Lands New Sitcom Inspired By Doctor Past

The Hangover star Ken Jeong has landed his own medical-themed sitcom inspired by his past experiences as a doctor.

The actor is a qualified physician and keeps his medical certification up-to-date in the state of California despite hitting it big in Hollywood.

He will now put his skills to test on the small screen in new show called Dr Ken, which he will also executive produce. Bosses at American network Nbc are currently working on a pilot, which will be created by The Internship writer Jared Stern.

However, Jeong has put fans of his current Tv show Community at ease by insisting he will continue playing unhinged character Ben Chang in the comedy as he works on his new project.

After posting a link to a news story about Dr Ken on Facebook.com, Jeong adds, "I will never leave Community. I will always Chang the world."
