Keira Knightley - Keira Knightley Investigated Over Tv Licence

Keira Knightley spent years dodging officials at Britain's Tv Licensing authority as they refused to believe she did not own a television.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star went without a television for a long time because her gruelling work schedule meant she was not at home in London long enough to warrant buying one.

However, Knightley admits she aroused the suspicions of U.K. authorities who prosecute British residents if they fail to buy an annual licence for their television set.

She tells Britain's Stella magazine, "Football is basically the reason I got a television. I didn't have one before, because I didn't know where I was going to be, so there was no point. And I got hounded by the Tv licence people. I'm like, 'I don't have a f**king Tv licence because I don't have a Tv! Please come in and see that I don't have one!' But now I have one because it was getting ridiculous watching football on the laptop."

"spent years dodging officials at Britain's Tv Licensing authority" Lets get some FACTS here shall we. 1: BBC TV Licensing isn't an 'authority' 2: The 'TV Licence' is a trade mark owned by the BBC. 3: The BBC TV Licence funds the left-wing BBC because they know we wouldn't given the choice. 4: Keira didn't need a BBC TV Licence as she didn't watch 'live' television feeds at the time do didn't 'dodge' anything. You really should educate yourselves before making accusations like this, you leave yourself open to libel
