Katy Perry is going to have a few glasses of champagne at the MTV Europe Music Awards tonight (10.11.13).

The 'Roar' singer says she doesn't mind if she goes home empty handed from the ceremony, which is happening tonight in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, because she is determined to have a good time no matter what.

She told BANG Showbiz: ''My plan for tonight if I win is the same as if I don't win - I'm just gonna have fun. A lot of girls that I love to hang out with are here, like Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea and Ellie Goulding, I like those girls and we're gonna hang out and have a couple of glasses of champers (champagne).''

The 28-year-old star stunned on the red carpet in a Zac Posen dress, a vintage headband she bought in Tokyo and Chanel earrings.

Meanwhile, Ron Burgundy - comedian Will Ferrell's hapless newsreader character from hit movie 'Anchorman' - was confused as to which country he was in.

He said: ''I didn't even realise it was in Amsterdam. I've been trying to get to Krakow (Poland). I got on the wrong plane. Oh well. Every November I spend time in Poland.''

Asked what he had been doing since he landed in Amsterdam, he replied: ''I've been to the Green Light district. It's all about ecology. A lot of recycling goes on there.''

The funnyman is set to help host the ceremony by providing his own unique updates throughout the show.
