Kanye West has called for people to ''live like you could die tomorrow'' and encouraged fans to follow his example and seize every ''opportunity''.
Kanye West encourages people to live for the moment.
The 36-year-old rapper insisted he seizes every ''opportunity'' he gets presented with and believes everyone should do the same by living like every day could be their last.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, he said: ''If I see something, I see an opportunity - I'm gonna go for it, you know what I'm saying?
''We're all gonna die one day. So live like that. Live like you could die tomorrow! You know, go for it.''
The 'New Slaves' hitmaker - who has a three-month-old daughter, North West, with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian - also revealed he was working without limits for his latest album 'Yeezus' and benefited from not forcing himself to write in line with the latest trends.
He explained: ''I feel, you know, I was able to just start making exactly what was in my mind again - and not having to speak with the textures of the time.''
The reason behind this shift comes from Kanye believing the ''blatant radio hits'' won't stand the test of time in the same way his latest record will.
He added: ''When I get into the idea ... certain songs that are blatant radio hits, it's like I'm speaking with today's textures.
''And ... if you look at it 200 years from now, it's not gonna stand out in the way that '[808s & Heartbreak]' or 'Yeezus' stands out.''
