Justin Bieber - Justin Bieber To Face Deposition Questioning Over Multiple Paparazzi Run-ins
A paparazzo who is suing Justin Bieber over an alleged bust-up in Miami, Florida last year (13) has been granted permission to have the superstar questioned over a string of other media run-ins to strengthen his case.
Photographer Jeffrey Binion claims he was choked by Hugo Hesny, one of the singer's bodyguards, in June (13), and ordered to delete his images after the 19 year old took offence to being snapped outside a recording studio.
Binion's lawyers recently asked a judge to allow them permission to quiz Bieber about similar incidents with other members of the paparazzi during his upcoming deposition to prove that his security team has a history of clashing with photographers.
In legal papers, Binion cites five other reported bust-ups with snappers in Miami, Hawaii, California, Argentina and Australia, which all hit headlines in recent months as the singer travelled the world on tour.
Bieber's representatives challenged the motion, insisting the scope of the deposition should be limited to this single case, but a judge dismissed the objection and ruled in the plaintiff's favour, according to Tmz.com.
The singer will be in for a tough time when he sits for the deposition - in November (13) alone, one bodyguard was accused of snatching a camera from a fan trying to take a picture of the pop idol surfing in Australia, while security personnel Dwayne Patterson was arrested for third degree assault and fourth degree criminal damage following a confrontation with a photographer in Hawaii.
Bieber was back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons last week (ends10Jan14) after he was accused of pelting a California neighbour's home with eggs. He is now under investigation for vandalism.
