John Travolta crashed a wedding with Robin Williams.

The 60-year-old 'Grease' star said the pair found the stunt incredibly funny and laughed about it for years afterwards.

When asked about his best memory of Robin - who committed suicide last month after a lifelong battle with depression, - John told Deadline.com: ''One time he came up to Santa Barbara to visit me and we were sitting in the lobby of a hotel.

''There was this big wedding going on next door, and we are getting a little bored, sitting there with our iced teas. I say, 'Should we?' and he said, 'I think we have to.'

''And we just crashed this wedding together ... We laughed about it for years because it was so unexpected and so much fun to just do that kind of impromptu thing.''

John - who worked alongside Robin in 'Old Dogs' - revealed the star was particularly comforting towards his daughter during her first film role.

He added: ''It was wonderful to work with Robin on a film ... I most appreciated how kind he was to my daughter during the shooting of 'Old Dogs'.

''He was all there for my daughter, who had never acted in a film before. He made it very safe for her to be natural and to be good and she certainly was that, and he was a lot of reason for it because her primary scenes were with him. It was a very touching thing for me to see and to watch, as a father.''
