Jacki Weaver - Jacki Weaver To Be Honoured By Aussies In Hollywood

Oscar-nominee Jacki Weaver will be feted at the Australians In Film (Aif) Awards ceremony in Los Angeles in October (13).

The Silver Linings Playbook star will pick up the Film Breakthrough Award, which recognises Aussies making it big in Hollywood.

Sullivan Stapleton, who will take the lead in next year's (14) 300: Rise of an Empire, will also be feted.

Stapleton says, "Being recognised by this organisation of LA-based Australian peers is a humbling and memorable career moment."

The reception will take place on 24 October (13).
