Man Of Steel - Henry Cavill Makes Sesame Street Debut

Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill stepped into the world of children's entertainment with a guest appearance on Sesame Street this week (17Sep13).

The actor teamed up with classic character Elmo for the Word on the Street segment to teach viewers the meaning of the word 'respect'.

In the educational clip, Cavill explains, "The word respect means treating someone in a way that makes them feels cared for and important."

According to Entertainment Weekly, the star took a moment to praise the cast and crew of the long-running children's show after the shoot wrapped.

He gushed, "Can I just say, you guys are incredible. It's really remarkable to watch you guys work. I have enormous respect for what you guys do."
