Head Of Abc's Production Company Out After Ratings Collapse
Following a season that saw ABC's ratings plunge to third place among total adults and fourth place among the key 18-49 age group, Barry Jossen has resigned as head of ABC Studios, which produces most of the programs for the network, and will become a producer for the company. We thank Barry for the amazing work he's done in helping build the strength of the studio and look forward to working with him as an Academy Award winning producer on our lot, said ABC Entertainment Group chairman Paul Lee. He is being replaced by Patrick Moran, senior vice president of development for ABC Studios. Of all the ABC Studios-produced shows introduced during the past season, only two are scheduled to return in the fall, the drama Nashville and the comedy The Neighbors.
