Bob Dylan - French Prosecutors Follow Up Bob Dylan Drama With Investigation

French prosecutors have confirmed they are investigating comments Bob Dylan made in a magazine article after officials at the country's Council of Croats threatened legal action against the singer/songwriter.

Bosses of the Croatian community organisation have alleged that remarks the singer/songwriter made to Rolling Stone last year (12) amount to incitement to racial hatred.

In the interview, the singer opened up about his views on racism in America and was quoted as stating, "If you got a slave master or (Ku Klux) Klan in your blood, blacks can sense that. That stuff lingers to this day. Just like Jews can sense Nazi blood and the Serbs can sense Croatian blood."

Ironically, Dylan was awarded the Legion d'Honneur medal - France's top civilian award - last month (Nov13) in Paris for his services to the nation.

Built him up to tear him down........as Smokey might have said. Little wonder Bobster seldom speaks in public. I doubt the remark was intended to cause offence to every Croatian. If he was my man I'd have just booted his erse letting his guard down - but no, some eejit has to sue - because he's famous. What a sad end to a gruelling tour.
