Edc - Electric Daisy Carnival Marred By Second Death

The 2014 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas has been marred by the death of second reveller.

The annual dance bash hit headlines over the weekend (20-22Jun14) after 24-year-old Montgomery Tsang collapsed in the parking lot at the end of Friday night's (20Jun14) festivities. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital in the early hours of Saturday (21Jun14).

Now the death of a second man, 25-year-old Anthony Anaya, has also been linked to the Electric Daisy Carnival. He was found unresponsive at the Vdara hotel resort late on Saturday (21Jun14), hours after attending the Las Vegas Motor Speedway festival, which featured headlining sets by superstar DJs Diplo, Paul Oakenfold and Eric Prydz.

Coroners are currently awaiting blood toxicology results for both males before ruling on the official cause of death.

Anaya is the seventh reveller to die after attending the Edc since 2011, according to LAweekly.com.

FYI the 2nd death took place 15 hrs after the guy left EDC the previous night. He partied at his hotel for hours afterwords, so people need to stop blaming EDC for that. Um out of 400,000 EDC attendees less than a fraction of 1% are likley to suffer from death, felony, or drug related issues. As a drug free attendee (yes we exist) I witnessed EDC health crews and employees doing there very best to keep everyone safe and hydrated. Securty was top notch. Also lets keep in mind more people die and are arrested on the Las Vegas strip on any given weekend than at an event like EDC. So stop sensationalistic story telling. Yes 2 deaths need to be recognized, but let's ask the important questions, like: what was the real cause, and what about the people that were with the deceased? What was there role? EDC provides great music, quality entertainment, and world class experiences for its attendees. 400,000 people don't spend that much money on tickets, hotel, and travel expenses to just piss it away on bad decisions. 99% of them conducted themselves positively and looked out for each other. These are not just ravers, they are people from all different classes and backgrounds from all over the world. People like me and you.
