Drake - Drake Vows To Give Up Interviews Over Phillip Seymour Hoffman Cover

Rapper Drake has vowed to boycott magazine interviews over allegations editors at Rolling Stone dropped him from the cover at the last minute in favour of a tribute to Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

The star claims he was supposed to be the cover star for the new issue of the music Bible, but his picture was dropped and replaced with a tribute to the actor following his sudden death earlier this month (Feb14).

Drake insists he is "disgusted" by the snub, and also alleges his comments to the publication about fellow hip-hop star Kanye West, in which he reportedly poked fun at his last album, Yeezus, were misconstrued.

He has now vowed to give up magazine chats for good, writing in a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue... I'm disgusted with that. Rip to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil... I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately."

The publication reports Drake said of Yeezus, "There were some real questionable bars on there... Like that 'Swaghili' line? Come on, man. Even (rapper) Fabolous wouldn't say some s**t like that... (But) Kanye's the reason why I'm here. I love everything about that guy."
