Michael Jackson - Conrad Murray: 'Michael Jackson Verdict Has Vindicated Me'

Michael Jackson's convicted physician Dr. Conrad Murray is adamant the verdict in the singer's wrongful death trial has vindicated him.

In 2011, Murray was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the pop icon after giving him an accidental overdose of anaesthetic that caused Jackson's death in June, 2009.

The singer's family subsequently filed a wrongful death lawsuit demanding compensation from concert promoters AEG Live for hiring Dr. Murray to treat the Thriller hitmaker, but a jury cleared AEG Live bosses of any wrongdoing on Wednesday (02Oct13) and ruled the medic was not 'incompetent'.

In an audio recording obtained by Tmz.com, Murray thanks God for the trial's outcome and insists it has vindicated him as a doctor.

He says, "I just want to praise you Lord... Today you have vindicated my image... I have never been and never will be an inept physician. This has always been a frivolous and unjust lawsuit. This time there is justice. This time the jury got it right. Thank you Lord."

"Vindicated" my butt....Murray is still the negligent "so-called" doctor that let Michael die! He is exactly where he needs to be and he should have to stay there for the rest of his life....he's a MURDERER!!!

AEG was "vindicated"--not Murray. Evidently he cannot hear or see and has forgotten that he is a convict, sitting in a jail cell.

I guess Murray didn't hear what the jurors had to said after the verdict. They only said he was competent when HE WAS HIRED BY AEG (WHO KEPT CLAIMING THEY DIDN'T HIRE HIS A$$). but they did said he was an unethical doctor who FOR MONEY went against his competency as a doctor and administered medication that he KNEW he should have not that ended with the death of his patient! So it was proven that he did work for AEG and for some reason this jury didn't understand that Randy Phillips and Kenny Ortega both claimed to have actually had to go to MJ's room banging on the door until the walls shook when MJ was under the influences and how MJ couldn't make some of the rehearsals because of the same problems. AEG has worked with MJ in the past, and the emails to AEG from Kenny telling them the problems of MJ and even telling how Murray told Kenny not to try to be MJ's doctor and that he would take care of MJ's situation. The entire world knew MJ had drug issues, that is on tape even when Liz Taylor admitted MJ was in therapy, so of course AEG knew and Murray was a competent killer so I assume that is what this jury saw!

Conrad Murrays arrogance and stupidity never ceases to amaze me. MJ would not have died if this doctor had not left the room leaving a patient under general anesthesia unattended. The AEG decision just reitterated that Conrad Murray was solely responsible for MJ's care and he (Murray) was both inept and neglient resulting in MJ's death. I pray that Conrad Murray never practices medicine again
