A statue depicting Colin Firth's iconic lake swim as Mr. Darcy in a U.K. Tv adaptation of Pride And Prejudice has been installed in England.
The King's Speech star had tongues wagging when he emerged from the water in a see-through white T-shirt in the 1995 Bbc series, based on Jane Austen's novel, and now artist Toby Crowther has immortalised Firth's sexy lake dip in fibreglass by building a 12-foot (3.7-metre) sculpture of the actor's pulse-racing scene.
The display made its debut in the middle of London's Serpentine lake on Monday (08Jul13), but it will make its permanent home in a body of water in Lyme Park, where the scene was originally filmed.
Coincidentally, the sequence was recently voted the most memorable moment in British Tv drama history in a survey released earlier this month (Jul13).
