Chvrches - Chvrches Perform Three Times At T In The Park Festival

Electronic band Chvrches made history at T in the Park Festival in Scotland this weekend (11-13Jul14) by performing three times.

The Scottish trio first played its scheduled set in King Tut's tent on Friday (11Jul14) and made a surprise performance on Sunday (13Jul14) afternoon in the BBC Introducing Tent.

They pulled double duty by performing again that evening to cover for British band London Grammar, who had to pull out as lead singer Hannah Reid was ill, and the third gig set a record for the number of sets played by one act at T in the Park.

Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry tells Scotland's Daily Record, "All the times when people ask us why we don't move to London, this is the one time they can believe us, as we're the local band who can step in when people are ill."
