Christopher Reeve - Christopher Reeve's Superman Costume To Hit The Auction Block

Late actor Christopher Reeve's Superman costume is set to hit the auction block this month (Jul13).

The Village of the Damned star portrayed the popular superhero in four films in the 1970s and 1980s and the famous costume from the third movie in the franchise will go up for auction online on 12 July (14).

According to a press release, the suit, accompanied with a certificate of authenticity, is the only original Superman costume to be released to the public with full Warner Brothers Archives sanctioning.

Reeve passed away in 2004.
