Michael Jackson - California Supreme Court Rejects Conrad Murray's Latest Appeal

California's Supreme Court has rejected an appeal to review the involuntary manslaughter conviction of Michael Jackson's former doctor Conrad Murray.

The physician spent nearly two years in jail on an involuntary manslaughter charge following Jackson's death from a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol in 2009.

Murray was released from prison last October (13), and earlier this year (Jan14), a panel at a District Court of Appeal in California upheld his conviction and denied a petition asking for a rehearing of the case, prompting the doctor to take his claim to the state Supreme Court.

However, on Wednesday (23Apr14), Murray hit another road block as the state's highest court declined the petition from his lawyer, Valerie Wass, in which she claimed, "The pervasiveness of modern digital media essentially made it impossible for a non-sequestered jury to have entirely avoided media coverage of the case."

After Wednesday's decision, Wass insisted they will not give up, saying, "We're greatly disappointed but we intend to pursue this in federal court. The fight is not over."

Wass says, "The fight is not over." Oh yes it is. I only wonder who is paying her bill if this is not pro bono.

What amazes me is this lawyer is still trying to get an appeal for this doctor. We know about that doctor who did involuntarily kill his patient who thinks he is deserving of clearing his name and somehow it is suppose to be understandable, but when Ms. Katherine says she will never give up on trying to get to the complete truth about WHO killed her child and to punish ALL of the responsible parties, it's because she is greedy or somehow should accept the situation because the California courts are probably afraid to charge that BIG BAD COMPANY CALLED AEG BECAUSE THEY SHOULD NOT BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIRING THE DOCTOR WHO KILLED HER CHILD!!! I hope he never gets an appeal. He didn't even have to spend the amount of time the courts gave him for taking the life of the biggest name in the world and he has the nerve to think his name should be cleared, I THINK NOT!!!!!!!
