Bryan Cranston Treats Prom Couple To Weekend In New York

Generous Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston gave a young couple a prom to remember by flying the teen pair to New York to see his Broadway play All The Way.

The actor met Stefan Montana outside his show last month (Apr14), when the teenager asked the actor if he could help him secure a prom date with a girl named Maddie Abene.

Cranston obliged and recorded a video message for Montana, in which he stated, "Maddie, if you don't go to prom with Stefan, then maybe your best course of action would be to tread lightly," a reference to a line from the hit drama, which Cranston delivered in the menacing voice of his menacing character Walter White.

Abene accepted and Cranston decided to take his kind gesture one step further by inviting Montana, Abene and their parents on an all-expenses-paid trip to New York earlier this month (May14), according to the New York Post.

During the weekend, the teenagers and their families attended Cranston's Broadway show and went backstage to meet the cast.

Abene tells Kntv, "I've never been in a room with so many talented people at one moment in time. And it was really just overwhelming, and everybody was so nice to us, you know, all the cast members and Bryan (Cranston) especially. They were all so casual about it."
