Bill Nighy - Bill Nighy Offers Up Date To Raise Funds For Charity Auction
Actor Bill Nighy is offering to take one lucky fan out for lunch as part of a celebrity auction to raise funds for cancer charities.
The Love Actually star has donated the date to help raise cash for the Sir Bobby's Breakthrough Charity Auction, which is founded in memory of legendary England soccer coach Sir Bobby Robson, who died in 2009.
Alongside Nighy, stars including broadcaster Piers Morgan, comic David Walliams, and actress Amanda Holden, have also offered up lots to be bid on.
Holden says, "I am delighted to contribute to the Sir Bobby's Breakthrough Online Charity Auction and help raise £1million for cancer services.
"Sir Bobby was renowned for his passion and positivity, qualities that went well beyond the football field and inspired people across the country. I encourage people to donate an auction item or to get bidding in this wonderful auction. Together we can make a difference."
Fans can bid online until the sale ends on 27 October (13). Funds raised from the auction will go towards the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and cancer wards at Suffolk Hospitals in England.
