Actor Benedict Cumberbatch was taken on a high-speed motorbike journey through London on Wednesday (09Oct13) as he raced to shoot a chat show interview.
The Sherlock star was invited to appear alongside Hollywood veteran Harrison Ford and singer James Blunt on The Graham Norton Show, but he was busy filming scenes for new movie The Imitation Game in the U.K. capital on the day of recording.
After wrapping his scenes, Cumberbatch ordered a motorcycle taxi to scoot him across the city at breakneck speed but he still arrived late and kept his fellow stars waiting - and the thrill-seeking actor was left wishing he had taken control of the vehicle himself.
Arriving late on the set of the show, Cumberbatch apologised for his tardiness and told Norton, "Traffic was terrible. If I'd been driving the bike it might have happened a little faster!"
The show is due to air in the U.K. on Friday night (11Oct13).
