Robin Wright - Ben Foster cries when he sees a bike now

Ben Foster cries every time he sees a bicycle.

The 33-year-old actor, who is engaged to 'House of Cards' actress Robin Wright, recently finished filming the upcoming untitled Stephen Frears biopic about Lance Armstrong and admits he lost his ''f**king marbles'' during the ''brutal'' shoot.

The 'Streetcar' actor told the UK's The Telegraph newspaper: ''I break into tears every time I see a bike.''

He added: ''I lost my f**king marbles on that shoot.''

Ben admits the emotional storyline about the disgraced cyclist took more a toll on him than the physical demands of the role, but it also made him realise that the former Tour de France titan isn't a bad person and ''enriched'' a lot of people's lives.

He said: ''The man's story isn't over. I get to go home at night. He's waking up, and he's got his kids and those who have suffered because of him. And those who have been enriched by him. Half a billion dollars raised for cancer research. That's something.''

The 'Lone Survivor' star also revealed he hates rehearsing with his co-stars.

He said: ''I usually have at least five weeks to prepare but rehearsal is a solo deal for me. I don't like to rehearse, and the filmmakers that I have been drawn to are interested in provoking something between people rather than nailing a scene in advance.

''The luxury of this job is you get to listen to specialists and engage in questioning people you are interested in talking to.''
