Omar Johnson - Beats by Dr. Dre unveils Super Bowl headphones
Beats by Dr. Dre has teamed with international jewellers Graff Diamonds to create a bespoke headphone to commemorate this year's Super Bowl.
Beats by Dr. Dre has unveiled new Super Bowl-inspired headphones.
The luxury brand has teamed up with international jewellers Graff Diamonds to create a limited edition pair of headphones which will pay homage to the two teams playing in the big American football game this Sunday (02.02.14).
A Super Bowl-esque emblem will be encrusted on each of the unique headphones, with white gold being used for the Denver Broncos and yellow gold for the Seattle Seahawks.
The unique accessories will be presented to players in both teams before the hugely anticipated football game this weekend.
Beats by Dr. Dre's executive vice president of global marketing Omar Johnson said: ''This is the biggest game, on the biggest stage, being played in one of the world's most famous and beloved cities. We collaborated with premiere jeweller Graff Diamonds to create a headphone that would be precious enough to commemorate that moment, something that these athletes would not only want to wear but could also warrant a place in their trophy cases.''
In addition to the limited edition headphones, US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres will star in Beats' Super Bowl commercial to promote its new Beats Music online streaming service.
Ellen said: ''I'm partnering with Beats Music. I love them because they're changing the way you listen to music. They have a new digital streaming service that brings you totally personalised music. You can download the app on your phone, then hear any song at any time.''
