Ashton Kutcher is determined to make sure the birth of his first child goes ''smoothly.''

The 'Two and a Half Men' star, whose fiancée Mila Kunis is expecting a baby girl imminently, is reportedly ''not leaving anything to chance'' and has driven to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Beverly Hills several times to see how long it takes to get there from their nearby $10 million home.

A source told E! News: ''Ashton has made a couple dry-runs to the hospital to see exactly how long it will take them to get there. He's preparing for all scenarios and not leaving anything to chance. He wants everything to go smoothly!''

The insider added: ''Mila's in the homestretch and they are both very excited. It could happen any day now.''

The 'Black Swan' actress, 31, and the 36-year-old actor are staying close to home as their baby's due date approaches, but Mila has been frequently spotted attending Pilates classes.

The insider said: ''They have put the finishing touches on the nursery. It's all ready for the baby to arrive. They are just waiting.''

The couple also enjoyed a dinner date in Los Angeles on Sunday (07.09.14).

An insider previously said: ''Mila is so excited about the baby. She's not nervous at all. She's been really calm and chill about it all.''
