Stooshe - Alex Buggs, Courtney Rumbold and Karis Anderson - will release the brand new single 'Slip' on May 13th on Warner Bros. Records. It comes ahead of their eagerly anticipated album which will follow on May 27th.
'Slip' is an ode to getting a relationship back on track and not being taken for granted delivered with Stooshe's famous attitude.
The accompanying video for the single was directed by Bryan Barber who is renowned for the irrepressible energy and distinct visual style which have typified some of his best loved videos including Outkast's 'Hey Ya!' and 'Roses', 'Girl' by Destiny's Child and Christina Aguilera's 'Ain't No Other Man'.
Following tours with Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez last year, the girls recently hit SXSW for a special performance at Perez Hilton's One Night in Austin bash alongside Macklemore, Charlie XCX, Fall Out Boy and Paloma Faith.
Stooshe's outspoken sense of style and unruly wordplay has attracted a legion of fans, with amongst others, Jonathan Ross inviting them to perform on his show. Stooshe are firmly established as one of music's hottest new artists and the biggest rising girl band around following two Top 5 hits in the shape of 'Love Me' and the Gold-certified 'Black Heart', which has sold over 475,000 copies and continued to maintain a Top 40 chart position months after release. They were also nominated for Best Newcomer at the MOBOs as well as Best British Single with 'Black Heart' at The Brits being one of the year's most played songs at radio, having spent months on the airplay Top 10.
