Reunited rockers the Stone Roses braved the wind and rain to headline Britain's Isle of Wight Festival on Friday night (14Jun13).
The band top-lined the famous music event following performances from stars including Paul Weller, Ellie Goulding and Emeli Sande, who all made the most of the short-lived sunshine during the day.
The Stone Roses, who returned to the spotlight last year (12), opened their set with popular hit I Wanna Be Adored and made it through a number of songs before the bad weather hit.
The rockers braved the elements and closed the show with a rain-soaked finale of I Am the Resurrection.
The festival was marred by bad weather last year (12) and the heavy rain threatens a repeat of the muddy conditions endured by fans at the 2012 event.
Other acts due to perform over the weekend (15-16Jun13) include Blondie, The Script, The Killers and Bon Jovi, and revellers will also be treated to a set from another group of reunited rockers - Bob Geldof's The Boomtown Rats.
