A representative for former Stone Roses bass player Gary 'Mani' Mounfield has shot down reports the cult British band is set to reform, insisting: "It's not true."
The Fools Gold hitmakers were rumoured to be planning a comeback amid claims frontman Ian Brown and guitarist John Squire had ended their 15-year feud.
But a rep for bassist Mani has moved swiftly to reveal a hotly-anticipated reunion is not on the horizon.
His spokeswoman tells WENN, "I can confirm that it's not true."
The Stone Roses split in 1996 after a series of bust-ups between Brown and Squire about the band's musical direction.
