The famous faces were photographed individually by Italian snapper Fabrizio Ferri, who captured most of his subjects in his first attempt.
Each celebrity was snapped holding one hand out to display their palms - the ancient Roman gesture of peace - while wearing a ring designed by luxury brand Bulgari for the cause.
The silver and ceramic band costs $400 (£250), and $80 (£50) from each sale will be used to help boost arts programmes and deliver vital teacher training in countries including Haiti and China.
Actresses Jessica Szohr and Analeigh Tipton, rocker Eddie Van Halen, English actor Julian Sands, model Jessica Stam and Italian star Isabella Rossellini were also photographed for the shoot.
Ferri says, "Most of the portraits are done with one single shot. It's really, really fast. This is about authenticity; once the subject gets it, it's done.
"I like very much the picture of Sting... The energy within this man is unbelievable. That's what I like about it. He's an incredible man and he shows his power - power in a good way."
Ferri also admits Biel was nervous about going bare-faced, adding, "When I first told her it was no make-up she did a double take. Then she looked at me, smiled, walked on set, one shot, and she was done. Her eyes are beautiful."
