Stevie Wonder has joined the rock and pop elite after his cult album SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE was honoured with a diamond award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales in excess of 10 million.

The hit 1976 Motown double album went diamond last month (MAR05). It remains Wonder's biggest selling album - his only other multi-platinum release is IN SQUARE CIRCLE.

He has four other albums that have achieved platinum status.
