Folk legend Stevie Nicks has ruled out ever becoming a mother - because a baby would hamper her "complete freedom".
Nicks has been married once, to her longtime friend Kim Anderson, but they divorced in the 1980s after just months of marriage and the singer remains childless at the age of 62.
The Fleetwood Mac star's close friend Sheryl Crow became a parent at the age of 46 when she adopted son Wyatt in 2007 and she took on another son, Levi James, last year (10).
And Nicks is adamant that seeing her friend dealing with parenthood has just made her more determined not to have children of her own.
She tells Britain's Guardian Weekend magazine, "I want to have complete freedom. Sheryl does not have complete freedom now. She doesn't! But that's what she wanted. She wanted a baby. And I have a Yorkie Chinese crested dog. I'm happy with that."
