Stevie Nicks is still asking questions of the doctor who kept her hooked on powerful drug klonopin for eight years - because she has no idea why he prescribed the tranquilliser to her for so long. The Fleetwood Mac star reveals she was shut out of her own life for eight years because she was taking klonopin - one of the nine drugs found in tragic Anna Nicole Smith's body at her time of death. And to this day the singer still has no idea why her doctor let her throw her life away. She tells US news show ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, "He basically sat there and watched me gain 30 pounds and the light go out of my eyes and kept giving me more." Nicks is grateful she sought further medical help before the tranquilliser killed her: "If I hadn't gone into the hospital when I did I would absolutely be dead now."
