The Aerosmith frontman has officially inked a deal with Dot Records, the legendary label Borchetta and his Big MAChine Label Group partners revived last year (14).

Announcing the news on Monday (06Apr15), Tyler tells Rolling Stone Country, "There was an immediate connection with Scott and Big MAChine... and Dot Records is the right fit. My earliest influences put me somewhere between the Everly Brothers and the Carter Family, and this project is all about me paying homage to my country roots.

"I've been working with some f**king epic Nashville songwriters, getting my feet wet with the style and groove."

Tyler has been working with top Nashville, Tennessee-based songwriters since the beginning of the year (15), but there is no schedule for his new solo album.
