Aerosmith lead man Steven Tyler has announced his intention to leave behind his post on American Idol, leaving the door open for yet another person to sit beside resident judge Randy Jackson.
Steven, who has been a judge on the talent show since 2010, is not the only judge considering their future on the show either, as Jennifer Lopez looks to be heading out of the proverbial door too. J-Lo admitted that she was considering her future on her show after an appearance on the Today show earlier this week and has since said that she would like to concentrate on her music.
Whatever Jen's final decision is, Tyler is the first to come forward to voice his dissatisfaction with the show and admit that he is ready to leave. He recently released a statement in which he said that he felt he could no longer keep up with the demands of the saying: "I've decided it's time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit".
Mariah Carey has recently emerged as a potential replacement judge already, however a second replacement, should J-Lo in fact leave, has yet to rear their head just yet.
