AEROSMITH star Steven Tyler is bitter about Internet downloading because his back catalogue is suddenly worthless. The rocker insists he and his peers suffer every time a fan downloads their back catalogue - because they get nothing back from it. He gripes, "There was a time when our catalogue was worth $24 million and now it's worth, like, 12 cents. Why? Because anybody can download it on the Internet. "The bottom line is the TOM PETTYs and the Steven Tylers and the JOE PERRYs and the BONOs of the world lose their past catalogue. "It's like vultures. The only thing left is your carcass. Thank God for a skeleton. The only thing an artist today is worth is his happiness, his integrity and his hard ticket... We play the Forum (Los Angeles venue), we get paid because we showed up."
