Steven Spielberg's Lincoln picked up another big film prize in Berlin on Friday (08Feb13) when it was named the Most Valuable Movie of the Year at the Cinema for Peace gala.

The historical epic beat Ben Affleck's Argo and Zero Dark Thirty to claim the top honour, while new films No and Class Dismissed picked up the Award for Justice trophies and Bitter Seeds was handed the International Green Film Award.

Searching for Sugar Man and The Gatekeepers picked up the Most Valuable Documentary of the Year honours.

The gala also served as a celebration of Oscar winner Charlize Theron's humanitarian efforts - she was presented with the Cinema for Peace Honorary Award in recognition of her Africa Outreach Project.
