The grandson of movie icon Steve McQueen has moved to Britain to pursue his dream of becoming a soccer star.
Chase MCQueen, 19, has left his native California to take up a place with lower-level English club Cheshunt Fc.
The teenager, who plays as a goalkeeper, insists he didn't want to follow his grandfather into Hollywood, saying, "I wanted to write my own story - I wanted to make my own path. Acting and trying to live up to my grandfather's legacy wouldn't be fair to me. Nobody could ever live up to what he has done with his life. I want to be playing in the Premier League (England's top soccer league) in five years. That's the goal."
He adds to the Hertfordshire Mercury newspaper, "It has always been a dream of mine to come to England and play. There's no better place in the world."
